This documentary should be a good dose of reality for all of us. We, as a nation, over-consume and do not produce anything anymore. The U.S. has a negative savings rate. People are maxed out and have debt up to their eyeballs. Banks, brokerages, GSEs, automakers, insurance companies, retailers, and local governments are at the brink of collapse, if not already. And the Federal government could instantly be bankrupt if it were not for the foreigners that continue to lend us money. How can our nation survive like this?
